Year End Post

I saw this questions in one of the Facebook groups, the Online Filipino Freelancers (OFF)

And I want to answer it here, I know this is something I need to do before the year ends

What's the biggest lesson you learned this year?

Not managing my finances properly leads to unnecessary losses.

I've had several wrong financial decisions this year which led me to having debt, instead of finishing off paying my debts.

Although I have been continually paying for my Home Credit Loan, and this January will be my last installment. Yey! 🥳

It was a 36 Months to pay loan for only P50, 000.00 at P3,300.00 monthly installments. I know, it is too much! But I really needed the money three years ago. 

So I incurred several debts this year which I plan to payoff during the first quarter of 2022 and also I will go back to the envelope system of budgeting, which I did not do this year.

What's your greatest achievement?

For me, my greatest achievement this year is getting my YouTube Channel Maya Layug monetized!

I planned this around March or April this year, targeted to have it monetized by December... And I did it in November! 🎉

What's that one thing you want to accomplish next year?

Finish writing my first book.

To launch it before the year ends 🥰

So, I will still continue to grow my YouTube Channel for 2022.

I really love seeing people earning money from different sources 

And would really love seeing myself in that same situation too!

Probably by 2022 I will be earning from YouTube, my Book, of course from my full-time work as an Assistant Property Manager at The Cal Agents Realty, of  course I am already earning 20% of my investment in UMP which I plan to increase my investment by 2022, and I am also working on getting my blogs monetized again. 

So that will be five streams of income by the end of 2022! 🥳💕

Yes, I am a late bloomer 😆

While some started in their early twenties or thirties doing the things I am doing now...

Me? Just starting 😁

You know why? 

Because when I was younger I was more focused on earning for my family and sending my kids to school and all tose things. 

I had my first child barely a month after my eighteenth birthday! 😂

Anyways, everything always happens for a reason. 

And I know, although I am now almost fifty, the timing is still perfect. 🙏

Because God's Time is always the right time! ❤️
